Music video elements and storyline

Now we have collectively decided on a song, we have began to come up with some ideas on the
style of the video and some elements we wish to include in it.
The song has a very dark feeling and the genre is; ectroclash, dance punk and glam rock. This provoked us into including dark and possibly sinister elements within the video.

An example of some of the lyircs of the song are;

'He is perfect for me
to practice surgery.
One look coagulates
It's time to operate.'

The song is performed by a female artist and the lyircs indicate a possible femenist perespective and are shown through metaphorical language.

Based on the feeling and lyrics of the song, the basic storyline of our video will include....

• An obscene female group or 'cult'
• Stop motion of barbie dolls (idea taken from album art work) (dolls will imitate female character's sedistic actions)
• "Torture" of male characters to relate to femenist element

The idea of using barbie dolls within our video is to highlight the typical representation often assocated with women. As the artist of the song is a femanist and the lyrics of the song reflect this, we agreed that by including this idea it will present the theme in a contrasting and ironic way.
